This is a picture of a bee in a rose that I found at Lowe's. A bee is a type of insect. An insect is a member of the arthropod family that has three major body parts: the head, thorax, and the abdomen. Along with that, insects have three pairs of legs, a pair of antennae, and have an exoskeleton. Bees meet all of these requirements, making them insects.
