Epithelial Tissue

This is a picture of my mother's arm. The skin on her arm is a type of tissue known as epithelial tissue. Epithelial tissue's function is to cover the whole body to protect it. The skin acts as a barrier between the outer world and our bodies. It protects the body from all of the harmful germs and bacteria from entering the body, keeping humans strong and healthy.
