K-Strategist

This is a picture of mom and my pet dog. Both of these mammals are perfect examples of K-strategists. K-strategists are animals that have few offspring at a time and take care of their offspring after giving birth to them. Mothers normally care for their children until they are around the age of 18, and dogs nurture their puppies until they are sure they are ready to live without their milk. K-strategists take good care of their young, making humans and dogs great examples of them
